Hosted by the Scarborough Campus Student Union (SCSU), SCSU Frosh is an informal and fun environment where first-year students get to make connections with other students! Make sure to buy your ticket so you can join the fun! Frosh 2024: Ascend will take place from August 30 to September 1. Ticket are now available!

First-year students are invited to move into Residence at their assigned times. Once you are settled in, get ready to meet fellow students at various Residence Orientation activities. Students living in Residence will receive additional details via email and Residence Life Staff.

New to UTSC and Canada? Join the International Student Centre for orientation workshops for all new international students at UTSC.

This fun, interactive event will have representation from different departments including Athletics and Recreation, Health & Wellness, Arts, Culture and Media, and much more!  Students will learn about different programs and services that reflect UTSC as a health promoting campus. Activities will be running in various locations across campus; including the HW patio, Quad and the Terrace!

The Computer and Mathematical Sciences (CMS) Orientation will consist of networking, club fair, faculty panel, campus resource sharing, and great activities hosted by the department and student association. Join us for some fun and find out how to shape a rewarding academic and life journey on campus.

Join our co-op staff and upper year co-op students as we walk you through the co-op journey talking about what to expect in first year, your co-op courses, planning for your work terms, job search and work term experiences and some policies to be aware of. Make sure to pay attention because the more you know might help win you some great prizes!

Join your first-year classmates for a fun-filled day including a motivational keynote from a Management alum, indoor and outdoor activities, a chance to make friends and meet senior students, staff, and faculty. Time: 9am-5pm

This includes experiential learning opportunities with registered local non-profits, paid internships, on-campus jobs including work-study opportunities, experiential learning opportunities, international work, volunteer, and short-term study abroad experiences, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Queer Orientation (QO) is an annual series of 2SLGBTQ-centred programming across all three campuses of U of T during September. QO is an opportunity for new and returning students, staff, faculty and librarians to make connections with other 2SLGBTQ+ people, engage in activities and have discussions related to 2SLGBTQ+ communities at U of T.
